Bewakoofiyaan is an Indian romantic comedy film directed by Nupur Asthana of Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge fame, written by Habib Faisal of Ishaqzaade fame, and is being produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film features Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor in lead roles.

The film is being described as a "slice of life" film, set during the time of recession. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonam Kapoor's characters are described as being "passionately in love" with each other, where they believe that their love can help them to survive in this recession time, but Kapoor's father, played by Rishi Kapoor, strongly believes against this.
