'Highway' is a Bollywood romantic drama film, directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Starring Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt in lead, it's a story about two characters from very different backgrounds who take the road trip across six states in a truck.
The movie revolves around a city girl Veera Tripathi, who is young, full of life, and is taken away by this group of rustic criminals leaded by Mahabir Bhati. However, as the truck runs and miles turn... the scenery changes... the light changes... and she feels that she has changed as well.
But they are not made for each other. She does not want to return to where she came from, and she also does not want to reach where he is taking her. She only wishes this journey to never end.
Maybe the Highway will not really change her, but she will go on with her life like everyone else. The film is all set to release in theatres on February 21, 2014.
