Al Jazeera English has held a press conference in London calling on the Egyptian authorities to immediately release five journalists detained in Cairo as part of its ongoing campaign. The conference on Wednesday took place exactly one month after Al Jazeera’s Peter Greste, Mohamed Fahmy and Bahar Mohammed were detained in Cairo while on assignment on December 29, 2013. Two other Al Jazeera journalists are also held by Egyptian authorities without charges.
