Most of the country, especially the East Coast woke up on Tuesday to more snow and icy winds. No, it’s not the polar vortex rearing its ugly head again, but Winter Storm Janus. The storm will travel with freezing fury, but its blast will end by Wednesday.Snow fall around the country will be anywhere from 6-12 inches. Some schools in various states have been closed today, and over 2,000 flights have now been cancelled. Commuting may be difficult because of the lack of visibility and the dangerous icy roads. So if you are outside, to avoid the winter blues, and possible frost-bite and hypothermia, be sensible: layer your clothing, and be sure to cover all exposed skin. Wear gloves, hat, and sensible snow shoes.
