Give me the faith which can remove - Chris Lawton at Woodville Methodist Church, Swadlincote

Me at the Compton electronic organ at Woodville Methodist Church just outside Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
The organ is the CH2 model of the Compton electrone range and has the speakers, generators, amplifiers etc all contained within the console thus making it suitable for the smaller church, chapel or for home practice. The specification reads:

For this first video im playing the hymn 'Give me the faith which can remove' to the tune 'Mount Sion' which shows off the main sounds on this instrument.
These organs are fast becoming extinct with many churches replacing them with digital instruments etc. Modern technology is indeed appealing with its realistic sampled sounds but history is being lost as a result. Opportunities should be taken to see that these unique instruments are preserved for future generations to experience how technology worked in the pre digital era.
