These images show Pakistan's former military ruler Pervez Musharraf being taken to hospital with a suspected heart problem.

He was on his way to court for his treason trial, related to his decision to suspend the constitution and impose emergency rule in 2007.

Musharraf denies the charges and says all the accusations against him are politically motivated.

The nature of his reported heart condition is not yet clear. But one of his lawyers said the 70-year-old has been transferred to a cardiology hospital in Rawalpindi.
