Chinese pup mourns late friend

If you think dogs don't have feelings -- it might be something to reconsider.
On December 22, this little white dog was struck by a vehicle.
But the brown dog refused to leave his companion, and reportedly stayed the entire night, braving cold temperatures.
Residents placed a stool by the two, with the hope of preventing other drivers for striking the pup in mourning.
(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) ONLOOKER (no name given), SAYING:
"The drivers must be careful and not hit them. The dog has been here for his friend all night."
Nearby restaurant owners removed the dog from the street and buried it in a city park.
