Food reaches South Sudan civilians

There aren't many pleasures in life in South Sudan at the moment but for these people at least there is food.
About 30, 000 who've taken shelter in U.N compounds in Juba and Bentiu are getting rations intended to last seven days.
The World Food Programme is one of the organisations delivering the vital aid.
(SOUNDBITE)(English) WFP PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER, GEORGE FOMINYEN SAYING:
"What we're providing to those who are receiving food assistance is a special highly-fortified nutritious product which we call Super Cereal Plus which is supposed to help to give energy and is an immediate response and is particularly useful for children who are vulnerable to malnutrition."
Families have to register so their needs can be established.
A ration card is used to keep track of what's going where.
Those who collect the food have their fingers inked to stop double claims.
