US death row inmates decry 'broken system'

Opponents of the death penalty in the United States say innocent men and women are being executed because of a broken and biased system.

Since the 1970s, executions have largely taken place in the midwest and southern states.

Al Jazeera's John Hendren travelled to Kansas City in Missouri, to meet one man exonerated while on death row.
