Tomer I.
The lead Instructor and founder of the school, Tomer served 20 years as an officer in the Israeli defense forces and as a chief security officer in the Israeli Foreign office.
In his early army career, he served in the "unit" (the Israeli Delta Force), specializing in operations behind enemy lines and hostage rescue. Later on he served as commanding officer in an elite recon unit specializing on Lebanese terrain. Tomer saw combat several times during his service, including the 2nd Lebanon War in 2006, when he led his team as a reserve officer.
Tomer is a graduate of the Israeli Secret Service national counter-terrorism academy's Warrior Program and the Chief Security Officer course; he is a certified tactical firearm teacher and a fire range instructor.

Tactical firearms and hand-to-hand combat
Assets protection - Executive protection, infrastructure and aviation.
Counter covert intelligence
Risk assessment, implementation of security solutions
With over 20 years of operational combat experience and 17 years of instructional experience, Tomer brings a well-rounded background as Lead Active Shooter Program Instructor. One of only a handful of Israeli counter-terrorism experts nationwide, and a graduate of the Israeli National counter-terrorism Academy, he is also a Train-the-Trainer Instructor, mentoring and evaluating other instructors across the board.
Tomer also holds Warrior Course and Chief Security Officer certifications from the Israeli National Counter-tTerrorism Academy and the Israeli Secert Service . He has trained law enforcement officers from over 23 agencies including United States Secert Service, Howard County, Montgomery County Police Department, SWAT, United States Marshal Service, 82 Airborne Rangers, United State Department, United States Marine Corps. and many more. Tomer has also created customized pre-deployment training for numerous government, military and civilian personnel headed overseas.

Tomer created a special beginners program that uses counter-terrorism techniques to meet the needs of home self-defense.
Thanks to our excellent instructor-student ratio, students go through the basic pistol/rifle fundamentals with personalized attention. Once they complete their current level and demonstrate they can implement newly learned techniques, students can advance to the next one.
Israeli Tactical School also provides a cost-effective practice sessions in a group setting, which allows students to sustain muscle memory, achieve proficiency and speed, and continue developing the skills needed for the next phase of the program.
