Footage released alleging Ukrainian police brutality

Dramatic footage has emerged appearing to show an unidentified person being beaten by Ukrainian police
Allegedly filmed on December 1, some of the scenes are of a graphic nature.
The footage appears to show a person lying on the ground being repeatedly beaten by several people in police uniform.
Later some officers are seen gathered around the person appearing to offer some help.
The identity and current wellbeing of the person seen in the film is not yet known.
Broadcast by a local news outlet, it is believed the incident occurred as riot police cleared an area of protesters near to the president’s office.
The Ukrainian government has since promised a thorough investigation into events.
