47-year-old Edward William Bright was arrested and charged with assault and battery after police officers arrived at a residence located on Lakeridge Parkway. (1,2,1) The brother of the suspect was found bleeding and he was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.
According to the police report, he had been stabbed multiple times in his upper body. (1,4,1) The wounds were said to be superficial. (3,4,1)
It was not released if any underlying hostility was partly to blame for the violence, however it was noted the males couldn’t agree on what type of dinnerware was going to be used for dinner. The fight escalated quickly when Edward pulled out a steak knife and used it on his sibling. (1,5,1)
