Firefighters are working to put out a blaze in a suburb of Brussels.

The fire started in a warehouse used to house film and theatre sets in the Saint-Gilles area on Friday night.

Around 40 people were attending a dance class in the basement of the warehouse when the fire broke out, but were alerted by the smoke. There were no casualties reported.

Nearby residents have been evacuated from their homes

There are reports that explosions were heard. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
