Ellen DeGeneres talks Oscars

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres talked Oscar hosting at a charity event in Los Angeles on November 22.

She was supporting Toys for Tots, which aims to distribute a million toys across the United States for children who aren't fortunate enough to get them.

DeGeneres explained her reaction when she found out she was hosting the Oscars for the second time since 2007.

"When they asked me to, at first I was like, 'uh, I don't want to do that again.' I've done that and it was nerve-wracking. And then I thought about it and it's fun to challenge myself, I like to do something like that."

And just what can people expect at next year's Academy Awards?

"I'll be in the audience a lot. I like being in the audience. I'll walk around and play with people in the audience for sure."
