BOOM BOOM BOX - Clips musique française. This was the first music video that I produced, directed, shot and edited.

This is the first music video I produced, directed, shot and edited. I was home for the holidays a few years ago and went to dinner with an old friend. During dinner he told me that he wanted to do a music video. I told him I had my Panasonic HPX 170 with me to capture some home videos and would be happy to put something together for him. We agreed to meet the next morning and he brought 3 songs he had recorded. I listen to the songs and picked Boom Boom Box as the song we should use simply because the other songs would have needed more props and actors than the budget (which was zero) would allow. I grabbed my camera and iphone which we used as the play back system and we hit the streets to scout locations. As I found each location I had him perform the song and I started shooting. At lunch time I asked if he could call his girl friend and have her arrange to get another good looking friend to be our dancers. I asked them to put together two matching outfits each that they might wear if they were going out dancing at a night club. We finished lunch and headed out to shoot a few more scenes before going back to his condo to shoot with our dancers. When we arrived at the condo the girls were finishing a bottle of wine to get up the nerve to to appear in the video. I choreographed a few simple moves I wanted them to perform and with no rehearsal or lighting I started rolling again. When I felt I had enough footage headed home and fired up Avid Media Composer on my Macbook Pro and started editing. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed creating it.
