The worker was stuck chest-deep in the muck at a subway construction site at 95th St. and 2nd Ave. More than 155 firefighters arrived on the scene to help the rescue effort, and after four hours, finally freed the worker by lifting him in a yellow blanket. The worker was at risk of hypothermia, and at least three firefighters were also injured during the ordeal.
