Ambassador fights women at Peru supermarket

Ecuador Ambassador Rodrigo Riofrio has been booted out of Peru after he got into a brawl at the checkout line with a woman and her daughter when they tried cutting in line at a supermarket in Lima.

Cristina Castro tried to cut the line in front of Riofrio, but said she instantly backed off when Riofrio said he was there first. However, Castro told reporters that Riofrio continued insulting Peru as a "country of ignorant people" even after she had stepped back. This angered Castro's daughter so much that she attacked the politician, who responded by swatting at her with a magazine.
