Greenpeace activists freed on bail

Holding signs that read 'Save the Arctic,' several Greenpeace protesters arrested by the Russian coast Guard walked free on bail.

Twenty were granted bail this week, and eight people walked free on Wednesday.

They're from a group of 30, arrested by the Russian coast guard during a Greenpeace protest against Arctic oil drilling this past September.

Two journalists and 28 activists were detained, including the pilot of the Greenpeace icebreaker.

He steered protesters toward the oil platform, and several activists tried to scale the structure.

British journalist Kieron Bryon is relieved to be free for the time being.
