Few people in the British fashion world evoke such respect.

But the late muse and fashion director Isabella Blow is surely one of them.

Fashion royalty and actual royalty turned out on Tuesday for an exhibition paying tribute to Blow.

Singer Mary J. Blige, actress Gemma Arterton, and eclectic singer Grace Jones were among the attendees to see the collection of memorabilia of the fashion eccentric and trend-setter, who committed suicide in 2007 aged 48.

Famous British milliner Stephen Jones said her death would continue to be a huge loss to the fashion world.

SOUNDBITE: Milliner, Stephen Jones, saying (English):

"There's nobody like that now who is a real mentor and a wonderful figure of inspiration because as well as introducing people she gave people something to dream of as well."

The displays included works from Alexander McQueen and milliner Philip Treacy, whom Blow helped discover.

The show is mostly put together from Blow's personal
