There are some celebrities who specialize in jaw dropping, headline-grabbing pranks. Sacha Baron Cohen is one of them.

In his most recent, albeit slightly controversial joke, Cohen walked up on stage during the Jaguar Brittania Awards and knocked a wheelchair bound elderly woman off the platform and onto the floor below. The shocking, yet comical stunt was pulled off right after he had just been announced the winner of the Charlie Chaplin Brittania Award for Excellence in Comedy.

It all started when actress Salma Hayek walked out on stage, accompanied by an 87-year-old woman in a wheelchair, who was introduced to the audience as the absolutely final living actor who appeared in one of Chaplin’s movies in 1931 called City of Lights.

When Cohen stepped up on the stage, he hopped around using a cane, but at one point he appeared to lean too heavily, causing the cane to break. Cohen’s body flew forward, pushing the pretend Chaplin-era actress and the wheelchair off the stage and onto the ground, causing audience members to scream and gasp

Cohen stated “She'll probably make the Oscars In Memoriam section. ... Anyway, tonight is not about her. It's about me."
