MoreIra is the digital and analog voice of José Iván Lebrón. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been a passionate music lover all his life. Known for being a member in groups like La Máquina De Las Pausas, Las Abejas, and Venera-3.
His career began in 2009 as guitarist and singer of a band named "La Maquina de las Pausas" in his native Puerto Rico. At the same time, he was drummer for a band called Kodex. Both bands faded out of the scene almost simultaneously so Moreira found himself with nothing to do musically.
This proved a great timing, as he began to work on his solo project, developing his own sound. He became drummer for Las Abejas (The Bee's Knees) and Venera-3 and finally, Moreira began performing at local venues as a solo artist in 2011.
In 2013, under Sonovibe Records, he releases his first EP 'Pao' as an introduction to his music. Moreira starts getting recognized by MTV Iggy, The Orange Press, New Weird Latin America, Clubbing Spain, and many others for his interesting visuals and sound. He is currently preparing himself to release in August his next EP called 'La Ira Secreta.'
The music from MoreIra reflects on a life full of rawness and crudeness with a mix of melodic voices, digital sweetness, and synth epicness.
