Brazilian Woman Encounters Man Who Was Buried Alive

For one woman in Brazil, the area surrounding a family tomb turned out to be something from a horror show.
Graveyards are usually serene, quiet and generally peaceful. However for one woman in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the area surrounding a family tomb turned out to be something from a horror show.
The unidentified lady thought she heard sounds coming from below the ground. Her fear was confirmed when she saw body parts protruding from the dirt of a nearby grave.
She stated “I was terrified to see a man, who I thought was dead, trying to get out of the grave. He had his head and hands out and was moving his arms around, trying to get out."
The lady quickly turned and ran away from the scene. She soon contacted emergency workers, who were hesitant at first to believe her story.
The man’s body was quickly exhumed and he was in fact alive. The unnamed male was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
It’s currently thought the man was a city worker who was beaten by unknown attackers. Once he was unconscious, the suspects most likely placed his body in a vacant grave and covered him in soil.
Police are grateful that the woman was in the right place at the right time.
