Maldives vote suspension sparks protests, clashes

Following Maldives' top court suspension of the presidential election runoff scheduled for Sunday, blocking a vote for the third time in two months, supporters of presidential candidate Mohamed Nasheed took to the streets of Male where they were confronted by police forces.
