The Derrick Rose will return to the floor when he and his Chicago Bulls face Lebron James in an opening night NBA Pro Basketball game set for Tuesday night.

Tip off time from Miami is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by TNT TV.

The NBA odds from this pro basketball game from the Eastern Conference have the home team Miami heat favored by -5 points with an over under total of 187 ½ points.

The big news for the Chicago Bulls will be the return of point guard Derrick Rose who missed all of the 2012-13 season recovering from major knee surgery. Rose has played during the preseason and will be in the starting lineup on Tuesday night. Last year the Bulls somehow found a way to eliminate the Brooklyn Nets in seven games during the playoffs last year. In the Eastern conference semifinals the team was eliminated by Miami in five games. Without Rose last year the Bulls struggled on the offensive end of the court as they shot just 43.7% from the field ranking 25th in the NBA. They were still rock solid defensively holding teams to 93 points per contest good for third best in scoring defense.

Miami Heat look for the three-peat as the team has won the NBA Title in two straight seasons. It was close as the Heat needed seven games to knock off the San Antonio Spurts. In Game 7 it was Miami with the 95-88 home victory as a -5 ½ point favorite on June 20th. This Heat team has played a lot of basketball competing in the NBA Finals now in three straight seasons. Dwyane Wade has been hampered by injuries the past few seasons as the minutes played have increased with all these post season games. Miami was the top shooting team last year hitting on 49.6% from the floor and were second from three point distance connecting on 39 ½% from beyond the arc.
