Altaf Hussain Appeals To Chief Justice To Take Suo Moto Notice On Dilshad Ahmed’s Martyrdom

The founder and leader of the MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the martyrdom of MQM’s worker Dilshad Ahmed. He succumbed to injuries of torture by law enforcement agency. He was brutally tortured in detention. His injuries sent him into coma.
Mr. Hussain has sent his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He said that MQM had extended their unconditional support for the operation against criminals. He added that they had stressed that operation should not be used to persecute any party, innocent people should be arrested, and accused should be produced in the court. It is shocking to note that detained persons are being brutally tortured.
Mr. Hussain said that Dilshad Ahmed was handed over to his family critical condition, which indicated he was brutally torture. He made an appeal to Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhru to take suo moto notice on the murder of Dilshad Ahmed and order an enquiry. He also appealed to the Chief Justice for the recovery of MQM’s eight workers.
Mr. Hussain also made an appeal to the president, prime minister, federal interior minister and chief of the army and security agencies to investigate into the murder of Dilshad Ahmed and prosecute the personnel responsible for his brutal death.
Mr. Hussain expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and said his death has saddened MQM’s workers. He prayed to Allah to grant him high place in paradise and urged the family to remain calm and composed. He also condoled with the Rabita committee, works and supporters on the martyrdom of Dilshad Ahmed. He said, “I can understand your sorrow and grief. I urge you to be patient for the peace in the city. Allah is with the people show patience
