It's hard to tell when someone can just snap without an obvious reason. Recently a 35-year-old man was arrested outside a Chipotle in Seattle after he smashed a restaurant employee with a bottle of hot sauce.

The whole bizarre ordeal started for completely unknown reasons. Seemingly out of nowhere, the male Chipotle patron grabbed a glass container of hot sauce and hit the victim’s face with the bottle, shattering it upon impact.

The worker had reportedly said “have a good night” right before the assault. The suspect quickly left the establishment and fled the scene on foot, but witnesses to the act followed him outside and called police.

Officers quickly responded and found the man, identified as Kevin Guzman. He was completely covered in hot sauce and bleeding from his hand.

Guzman was arrested and booked into King County Jail, which is where he’s now being held on $50,000 bail. The victim encountered multiple lacerations to his face.

He was initially treated at the scene by first responders, but he was later sent to a nearby hospital for stitches.
