Woman dies while rafting in Italian river

A woman died trapped in her kayak while rafting in Italy's Antigorio valley. According to local reports, Elena Cova, 45, was pedaling with two friends on river Toce. After approaching a section of the river with strong rapids, Cova had trouble controlling the kayak. The kayak turned over, trapping her inside. She couldn't get out and drowned. According to TGcom24, the accident happened close to the Crodo thermal centre in the Antigorio valley.
