Mom Gives Ride to Son Who Robs Elderly Man in Parking Lot

A 20-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing an elderly man’s wallet. The person who drove the getaway vehicle was his own mother.
Every now and then, you come across some unlikely partners in crime. In one recent case, a 20-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing an elderly man’s wallet. The person who drove the getaway vehicle was his own mother.
Jesse James Dillen is the male suspect in question. According to police in Greenacres, Florida, Dillen reportedly ran up behind the older victim, who was identified as 78-year-old Arthur E. Nieding.
After the unexpected assault, Dillen grabbed Nieding's wallet and fled the scene.
Surveillance video from the store showed a man getting out of a white KIA and running towards a nearby Starbucks. A detective soon noticed the KIA SUV and pulled it over. Dillen was in the passenger seat and his mother, Anne M. Negron was driving.
Negron initially told police she had not been anywhere near Walmart at the time of the incident, however her son confessed to everything.
Nieding’s wallet was recovered from a nearby dumpster. Negron was not charged with any crime, however her son is now in jail, facing charges of elderly abuse and robbery.
