SABER-TOOTH WHALE: Rare Marine Creature Found Washed Up on Southern California Beach

A 15 foot, 2000 pound Stejneger whale was found dead on Venice beach. The saber-toothed whale is extremely rare, usually found in the deep, icy Alaskan waters. Scientists are considering this a once in a lifetime chance to study the seldom seen mammal. Earlier this week, a dead 18 foot oarfish was found on a southern California beach.
