Car hit by train twice after police chase in Utah: A 29-year-old woman involved in not one but two train collisions after a high-speed police chase on Sunday morning in Woods Cross, Utah, has escaped with only minor injuries.

Woods Cross police responded to an "unwanted guest" disturbance call at Redwood Road address around 8.20 a.m. They received a description of a woman and a black Mercedes.

Moments later, the patrolmen spotted the suspect driver on Redwood Road and attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver fled.

Police dashboard camera video shows the black late-model Mercedes speeding in the direction of a level train crossing and colliding with a passing freight train.

One officer then tried to pull the woman free but a second running on a parallel track train slammed into the back of her vehicle pushing it along the track. It remained trapped for several hours after the woman was freed.

The woman, un-named in media reports, was rushed to hospital with a broken arm. Police haven't confirmed whether she was under the influence of alcohol.

She faces charges of evading arrest.
