School Janitor Accused of Hiring Fourth Graders to "Rough Up" Classmate

A female janitor in Michigan who was contracted to work at Grand Rapids Public Schools has been accused of offering two fourth-graders $1 to beat up one of their classmates.
All school employees are supposed to go to great lengths in order to protect children. However in one shocking case, a female janitor in Michigan who was contracted to work at Grand Rapids Public Schools, has been accused of offering two fourth-graders $1 to beat up one of their classmates.
The reason given for the spiteful deed was that the child had said some belittling things to her, which allegedly included a curse word and unflattering comments. The worker was quickly fired after a witness, who overheard the harm-for-hire plot reported the incident to school authorities.
The unidentified custodian is said to have admitted to everything. She did pass a district background check prior to starting work at the school this year.
A spokesman at the school stated “It is absolutely unacceptable in any way, shape or form for an employee to behave in this manner. There are consequences, and this individual learned quick the hard way.”
An investigation has now been launched. The mother of the student who was the target of the plot, claimed her child was being bullied.
