Irish five piece The Dead Heavys only emerged on to the scene from seemingly nowhere last summer but the bands mix of classic pop song writing & psychedelic grooves has already gained them considerable attention. Influential UK music journo John Robb tipped them as "a band that could easily grab a whole stadium of fans as well as the charts" while Eddy Temple Morris has been plugging the band on his weekly XFM Show. Their Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream/Sabres Of Paradise) produced debut released this September broke the top 40 in Ireland and the band have also won many fans with storming performances across festivals in Europe including Electric Picnic & Croatias INmusic festival.
