Along with his magnificent Test record, he has won the World Cup in 2011, the Indian Premier League and the Champions League Twenty20 twice.

One of the greatest players to have ever graced the game, he was the first man to score a double-century in an ODI and is a former captain of India.

He made his debut back in 1989 and has been an inspiration to millions throughout his 24-year career.
