Poornima Arvind (earlier Poornima Krishnan) is the daughter & disciple of Smt. Meena Krishnan

Her grip over the tala and rhythm has been commendable that she has the felicity to handle intricate Pallavis with ease and dexterity. She has received accolades in substantial measure from both the lay listeners and erudite critics. Her exceptional musical instincts have been well nurtured by her family and she has, today, gained much acclaim with the music fraternity as a highly talented musician of the younger generation. She has released an Album "Ramam Bhaje" under Carnatica Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, with the accompaniments of Sri. Mannargudi A.Easwaran and Smt. Usha Rajagopalan.
She is a versatile artiste -- Carnatic Vocalist, Mridangist and also a
Bharathanatyam Dancer and a performer in all the three branches.
