Two suspected criminals shot by police after dramatic car chase in Malaysia

Two suspected were shot by police in Johor Baru, Malaysia after a dramatic highway chase. A patrol car spotted the two suspects and attempted to pull their car over, but the two sped away, sparking a highway police chase.
Another police car answered radio calls and arrived on the scene, attempting to bar the passage of the suspects' car. The suspects rammed the police vehicle in an attempt to evade the authorities. Police shot at the car, injuring the two. The suspected criminals were sent to hospitals. Police said they discovered that the vehicle had been stolen and found implements for staging burglaries stowed in the trunk.
