Man Uses Crack Pipe in Police Station Interview Room

46-year-old Rodney Watkins of Roselawn was first arrested following a routine traffic stop. After using the bathroom at the station, he walked into an interview room, pulled out a glass pipe in an attempt to smoke his remaining crack.
Some people can easily be described as brazen.
A man in Ohio allegedly lit a crack pipe in police custody.
46-year-old Rodney Watkins of Roselawn was first arrested following a routine traffic stop. When officers initially approached the vehicle, Watkins, who was sitting in the passenger’s seat, produced an Illinois driver’s license which held the name of a man named Carlos Williams.
Watkins identified himself as Williams. Once police figured out that was a lie, they learned Watkins had several felony warrants.
He was transported to the Golf Manor Police Department. After using the bathroom at the station, he walked into an interview room, pulled out a glass pipe and lit it, in an attempt to smoke his remaining crack.
There were three different cameras inside of the room and a sign on the door made it clear that there were audio and video monitoring devices in use.
Watkins has now been charged with numerous offenses including obstruction of official business, possession of drug paraphernalia, narcotics abuse and theft.
He is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a nearly $40,000 bond.
