More migrants are picked up off the coast of Sicily

Around 100 migrants, including several children thought mainly to be from Egypt and Syria, have been picked up by the Italian coastguard.
Their boat was spotted near Sicily apparently in trouble.
UN figures show at least 8,000 migrants and asylum seekers have landed on the coast of southern Italy in the first half of 2013.
