STORY: The latest amateur video out of Syria appears to show explosions rocking the same Damascus suburb where suspected chemical weapons attacks reportedly occurred.

Smoke billows from between the buildings in the Ghouta region as aircraft flying above can be heard.

Reuters cannot independently verify the video, which came from a social media website.

The shelling comes as United Nations inspectors visit a government-run hospital in Damascus where a witness tells Reuters that soldiers affected by chemical weapons are being held.

Rebels and government forces have blamed each other for the August 21 incident that left hundreds dead.

In Aleppo, more amateur video has surfaced, showing doctors treating burn victims.

Men and women lie on hospital beds with one victim shouting, "God is great."

The video, which Reuters cannot independently verify, is believed to have been filmed earlier this week.
