It's safe to say that most criminals are not very compassionate but there are always exceptions.

Two soft-hearted kidnappers in China reportedly freed their female hostage.

They also gave the young girl some money after learning that her family was poor. The abduction took place in March of this year
and the kidnappers spent more than $1,500 preparing for their crime.

Several days later, they targeted an 11-year-old girl who was walking down the street alone. They snatched the child, planning to demand approximately $160,000 from the parents in ransom.

However when the kidnappers began talking to their adolescent hostage, they learned the girl’s family was poor and there was no way they would get the money.

The two men decided to release the female and one of the males even gave the little girl about $80 to take home.

She was said to unharmed and it appeared as though the kidnappers had taken good care of her.

Police eventually caught up with them and the men were recently sentenced to jail terms ranging from four to five years.
