OREGON HANDGUN SHOOTING INSTRUCTION CLASS
Bill Keefer, former firearms instructor for the Air Force, State of California and firearms range officer for the United States Marshals Service in Los Angeles.
I give personalized gun instruction at the local range. $40 per person. Two people at the rate of $60 for two.
HOW TO SHOOT A HANDGUN.
It is always the UNLOADED gun that will kill you.
So many times a person picks up a gun and in their mind knows it’s unloaded. More often than not, that is when the gun goes off and kills someone.
If you don’t know anything about guns, don’t touch it.

ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
This is the primary rule of gun safety. A safe direction means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage.
ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Whenever you pick up a gun, immediately engage the safety device if possible, and, if the gun has a magazine, remove it before opening the action and looking into the chamber(s) which should be clear of ammunition
