In a bizarre mover Iran detained an Indian ship on August 12. The MT Desh Shanti, an Indian oil tanker belonging to the Ship Corporation of India detained by the Ship Corporation of India . Later, the ship forcibly moved to the Iranian Port of Bandar Abbas. The Iranian authorities claimed that the ship was polluting its waters but India is not buying that argument.
