Summer life as a Whistler local

As soon as the snow started to melt I was fired up to go kayaking. With 2 trips down to Washington's classic the little white salmon under my belt by May, Whistler started to go off. Rallying big water Callaghan, Soo, Cheakamus and Ashlu's everyday in the blazing sunshine this was my best summer yet! With the snowpack fading and the weather cooling down Rogers and Tatlow came in, with some ridiculously long hike in's and a nice assortment of BC hellfuck we got to get on some classic steep creeks. After this, Fear Canyon of the Elaho started to drop in so we had some scary times (and a swim) on a classic stretch of big water. Long story short, Summer in Whistler just blew the winter season out of the water!
