FOCUS - Authorities crack down on immigration ahead of local elections

In Moscow, local elections are approaching and immigration has become one of the main issues of the campaign. There have been mass arrests of foreign workers and raids on markets where illegals work. The authorities have launched a major drive against migrants. Posing as an NGO worker, our correspondent was able to gain access to a detention camp where hundreds of those without proper documentation are being held, awaiting deportation.
