People living next door to Munster University's biology department in Germany are angry about loud guinea pig group sex.

Neighbors expressing frustration about dogs barking and cats meowing is not unheard of.

But people living next door to Munster University's biology department in Germany are angry about something else altogether.

They have issued a formal complaint to the city's administrative court, claiming that guinea pig group sex is simply too loud. The university keeps 13 male and female guinea pigs together in one cage which is located outdoors.

According to a local newspaper, the creatures are exceptionally noisy at night, disturbing nearby dwellers. The school makes it very clear that the mix gender group enjoys mating with each and every potential partner.

A 69-year-old neighbor stated “The Guinea pigs are unbelievably loud and stink to high heaven. It's unbearable.” A judge ruled in favor of the nearby homeowner, as the cage was approximately 6 and a half feet away from their house and legally, it should have been placed approximately 10 or more feet away.

The university uses the guinea pigs for research purposes. Authorities at the school say the cage cannot be moved and hope this does not mean the end of their research.
