Welcome Back, the sequel to the 2007 hit film Welcome was initially supposed to go on floors with John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads.

However later came news that Asin has replaced Sonakshi to play the heroine in Welcome 2. Now the latest buzz is that Shruti Hassan has bagged the role.
