Dos Santos claims that Martino helped him decide to stay

Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Aug 15 (EFE).- F.C. Barcelona midfielder Jonathan dos Santos, explained at a press conference that he had ultimately decided to stay with Barça after a conversation he had with new manager "Tata" Martino.
The footballer claimed that Martino said that he trusted him and that that had been the key to his decision. He admitted that he had been very close to leaving the club and signing with Real Sociedad but changed his mind when Martino coached him during the first friendly matches of the season.
Even though Dos Santos did not get too many chances to play last season, he feels that he learnt from the greats and does not consider it a lost year.
