Man Released From Jail Steals Ambulance for His Ride

One man in Arizona, 33-year-old Cesar Garcia recently opted to steal an ambulance to get to his house. Garcia made the decision after being released from prison.
Not having a vehicle can be problematic for people wanting to get home in a hurry. One man in Arizona, 33-year-old Cesar Garcia recently opted to steal an ambulance to get to his house.
Garcia made the decision after being released from a local police station. According to a spokesman for the Chandler Police Department, Garcia was arrested for having an open container of alcohol at a store.
He was released from jail with a citation. Upon walking outside of the facility, Garcia jumped into a parked ambulance and drove off, heading straight towards his home.
Police officers later located the ambulance and rearrested the suspect. While the details of the second arrest remain unclear, Garcia is now facing charges of motor vehicle theft, felony flight, aggravated assault on police officers and aggravated DUI.
The ambulance had been dispatched to the police station for a separate incident, however Garcia found it hard to resist. The vehicle was equipped with a GPS, making it relatively easy for cops to locate. There were no damages to the ambulance and thankfully no one was hurt.
