Sen. Mitch McConnell: Why Democrats Hate Citizens United

Senator McConnell delivered remarks at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) on the use of government power to stifle speech and proposed solutions that protect the individual rights that are guaranteed to all citizens of the United States. Sen. McConnell spoke on the issue at AEI in June of 2012 highlighting the growing threat to free speech, particularly the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS, calling on Americans to unite in vigilant defense of the Constitution.
