The Miami Dolphins will continue their preseason schedule as they travel to face in-state opponent the Jacksonville Jaguars in an NFL pro football exhibition game on Friday night.

Start time from Jacksonville is scheduled for 7:30PM Eastern Time with live national television coverage provided by the Miami and Jacksonville home markets.

The NFL preseason odds from this contest is lined at a pick with an over under line of 35 ½ points. With the game lined a pick a money line play on either the Dolphins or Jaguars will return -110 odds.

Miami is 0-1 in the preseason after a 24-20 defeat at the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night to the Dallas Cowboys as a -3 point betting favorite. The game ended over the total of 33 points.

It was a sloppy performance by Miami as turnovers early contributed to a 17-3 deficit at the half. Backup Matt Moore completed 19 of 29 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown and pick. Second year man Jonas Gray ran for 41 yards on seven carries for Miami. The team moved the ball for 421 yards on the Cowboys defense. They held Dallas to 96 passing yards but 170 yards rushing.

Second year man Blaine Gabbert returns under center for Jacksonville after a poor 2012 season. The backups are veterans Chad Henne and Mike Kafka. Rookie Matt Scott at Arizona should get a look late in the fourth quarter.

The Jaguars feature back will be eight year pro Maurice Jones Drew. Competing for the backup jobs are Justin Foresett, Jordan Todman, Jonathan Grimes and rookie De’Leon Eskridge. Gus Bradley makes his head coaching debut on Friday for the Jaguars. He worked as the Seahawks defensive coordinator for four years. Jacksonville finished at 2-14 last year and had the 30th ranked defense last year by allowing 28 points and 380 yards per game. The offense is just as bad. The team averaged 15 points per game in 2011 and 16 points a contest in 2012. The club ran for 85 yards per game and threw for 214 last season.
