Laure James: Gomis will be key for Newcastle

Journalist Laure James believes Bafetimbi Gomis will prove a key signing for Newcastle United so long as he's played centrally.
The Magpies are set to make the Lyon striker their first transfer signing and bring an end to a summer of misery.
And James told Sports Bar: "So many clubs were in for him at one point. It's all done and dusted with Newcastle now. He's brilliant if he's not stuck out on the wing which he suffered at times last season.
